As many of you beauties already know, the theme of the Met Gala's Costume Exhibition was “Camp: Notes on Fashion.” The theme was inspired by Susan Sontag's 1964 essay 'Notes on Camp'. Susan defined camp as "love of the unnatural: of artifice and exaggeration."
During her red carpet interview with Vogue, Rita stated that she wanted to showcase an "old Hollywood glam" makeup look opposed to her usual over-the-top look. Sticking to the metallic theme, she proudly stood next to her bestie Kate Moss and renowned fashion designer Marc Jacobs. The blonde bombshell accessorized her look with silver heels, a matching clutch bag, and a sleek Marilyn Monroe blow-dried hairdo.
Rita turned on the heat after the main event by changing it up with a red lip at the Met Gala After Party.
